Marriage Equality In Washington D.C. Starts Tomorrow

The website of the Superior Court of Washington D.C. now reads, "Pursuant to the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act of 2009, A18-248, effective March 3, 2010, same sex couples may apply for marriage licenses in the District of Columbia." In other words, gay marriage starts tomorrow in D.C.

Anybody planning on getting married tomorrow can show up starting at 8:30am at the D.C. Superior Court Marriage Bureau located on the 4th floor of the H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse (500 Indiana Avenue NW, Room #4485).
