Peter Brown Endorses Annise Parker

Today, Annise Parker received the endorsement of Peter Brown, the candidate who came in third place in last week's initial election. This is welcome news, as it provides hope that the majority of Brown's supporters will now support Annise, who faces a runoff against Gene Locke in a special election on December 12th. If elected, Annise would be the first gay mayor of a major U.S. city.
