A lesbian from Buffalo made this YouTube video as a really cool piece of activism. She went down to her local government office (that's right– a civil marriage has nothing to do with a church), and pleaded her case for marrying her partner. Upon being denied, she grabbed a male stranger and married him on the spot. We need more people like her to do this!
