New LGBT Social Networking Site Launches
There's a new LGBT social networking site called queerbook.com. The site had been dormant from 2003 until the owner of the URL happened to take a look at the Google Analytics showing hundreds of thousands of hits on the direct URL entry alone. After discovery, the owner took the site, which was originally intended to be a “year book” for local gay and lesbian bars, and decided to launch into LGBT social networking ventures. The site offers members chat, groups, blogs, pictures, videos, and soon, other features including multiple profiles and privacy options. Seems like a nice idea, but somebody really needs to help them with their logo. The font looks like it's trying to imitate Facebook's, but falls considerably short.
